Triad firm honored for the fifth straight year
Smith Leonard is once again on the 2023 list of “Best Accounting Firms to Work For” as announced by Accounting Today and Best Companies Group.
Smith Leonard is a constant fixture on the list, being ranked for the fifth straight year and for the 13th time in 14 years. The Triad firm is one of three firms in the state to rank on the midsized firm list. The firm ranked 22nd overall among midsized companies.
Earlier this year, Smith Leonard was the only accounting firm ranked among the Triad’s Best Places to Work as announced by the Triad Business Journal.
The annual survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the accounting profession. The complete list of 100 includes 39 small, 53 midsized, and 8 large firms.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Have 50% or more of revenue coming from accounting
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business
- Be based in the US
- Have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in the US
- Must be in business for a minimum of 1 year
